COVID-19 UPDATE 

Following government advice about returning to work, Film LBBD will be accepting applications to film in Barking and Dagenham.

Production companies are expected to follow relevant guidelines about safe working practices (British Film CommissionPACT and APA).

We have developed additional COVID-19 T&Cs detailing actions and requirements that productions must factor into their filming applications – all will be subject to agreement and approval on a case by case basis.

Please carefully assess each location you propose. Productions must allow for sufficient leading time for planning, liaison and review of COVID-19 measures. If you If you do not think it is possible to comply with social distancing regulations, then we advise not to apply at this time.  Application may be refused for locations that are unable to safely accommodate social distancing measures.

How to apply 

  • Before you make your application we recommend you study Film London's Code of practice 
  • Once you have agreed to the terms and conditions, and submitted your application, you will receive an acknowledgement by email.
  • it helps to follow up your application with a phone call or an email to provide us with more details on your requirements to help us process your application quickly
  • complete a new customer set up form (see documents list) with your invoice details 
  • If the application is successful, an invoice will follow for the administration cost of processing your application (please see our website www.filmlbbd.com
